Service Description

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is an advanced course for healthcare providers and medical professionals. Fort Collins (FoCo) CPR is a Certified Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA). Upon successful completion a 2-year certificate is awarded at $100/year. This course is completed in two parts: 1) Online Training Module (1 Hour): The ACLS precourse self-assessment is an online tool that evaluates a student’s knowledge in 3 sections: rhythm recognition, pharmacology, and practical application. Students complete the assessment before their appointment to help evaluate their proficiency and determine the need for additional review and practice before the course. *All students* must complete the Precourse Self-Assessment and achieve a score of at least 70% before the ACLS course. Participants must print their scoring report and bring it with them to class.(This is not a scheduled event. Once payment is processed you will gain access to the online material via email within 24-hours). 2) In-Person Skills (6.5 Hours): ACLS highlights the importance of team dynamics, closed loop communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. It also reviews airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in both large group sessions and small group testing stations with case-based scenarios. (This is a scheduled event selected at the time of your booking. All online training modules must be completed prior to your appointment). An ACLS Provider Manual is *required* to take this course. AHA requires each participant to own a copy of the provider manual. A physical copy will be available for purchase ($60) at the time of your appointment. Within 24-hours of enrollment, you will be granted temporary access to the eBook ACLS provider manual, at no additional cost. This is to help you prepare for the required online precourse. Payment includes a 2-Year American Heart Association ACLS Provider Certificate awarded via email upon successful completion of the course.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations need to be received with a full 24-hours notice or participant(s) are subject to a $35 fee. If a minimum of 24-hour notice is received a refund of 50% is awarded.
