Service Description

Upon completion of training you will be awarded an Instructor Certification provided by the American Heart Association (AHA) authorized to teach and certify participants valid for 2-years. Participants receive detailed instructions and resources to become a successful AHA instructor. Individuals must pass all written and practical exams for each discipline (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers and Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED for non-medical professionals) with a score of 84% or higher. Cost includes start to finish mentoring, up to 60 days, with instruction and equipping, as well as, course shadowing and course teaching requirements by the AHA to complete an AHA Instructor Certification. Cost does not include provider/instructor certification card(s), instructor essentials online course, and provider/instructor manual(s). The American Heart Association requires all instructors to have both a current provider and instructor manual per discipline taught. FoCo CPR offers payment plans to support you in the pursuit of your instructor certification.


Cancellation Policy

Cancellations need to be received with a full 24-hours notice or participant(s) are subject to a $35 fee. If a minimum of 24-hour notice is received a refund of 50% is awarded. Full refunds are reviewed and processed on a case by case basis. In addition, please text us at (970) 402-9062 if you are running late. Thank you.
