Service Description

Heartsaver CPR and AED is for all non-medical professionals. Fort Collins (FoCo) CPR is a Certified Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Red Cross. Upon successful completion a 2-year certificate is awarded at $45/year. Teachers, engineers, new parents, teens and members of the community who have taken our course(s) inform us that it was "the best class they've ever had" and "the most informative." Our company does not spare any expense when it comes to saving a human life. Therefore, we train all participants using the newest and top of the line training equipment available on the market while focusing on a hands-on approach to learning. Often, non-medical professionals are the first person(s) to assist a victim until emergency medical services (EMS) arrive. We ensure that everyone, no matter age, experience, or background is trained to the highest standard in emergency response and health care today. This course will build confidence in each participant to accurately recognize and respond to life threatening cardiac and pulmonary emergencies. Additional Topics: - How to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) - Adult, child, and infant CPR/AED - 1 and 2 rescuers and working in teams - Mouth-to-mouth vs. face mask - Choking. Heimlich maneuver/abdominal thrusts. CPR with a known obstruction

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations need to be received with a full 24-hours notice or participant(s) are subject to a $35 fee. If a minimum of 24-hour notice is received a refund of 50% is awarded.
