INITIAL - Basic Life Support (BLS)

Service Description

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required for all healthcare providers and medical professionals. Fort Collins (FoCo) CPR is a Certified Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA) and the American Red Cross. Upon successful completion a 2-year certificate is awarded at $50/year. We ensure healthcare providers are trained to the highest standard in health care by building confidence to properly recognize and respond to life threatening cardiac and pulmonary emergencies. This course is designed to equip medical professionals for the field in either the clinical, pre-hospital, or hospital industries who have never received formal training in basic life support (BLS). Medical professionals who have been certified more than 10 times in their career usually inform us that our course was "the best I've ever had" and "the most informative." Our company does not spare any expense when it comes to saving a human life. Therefore, we train all participants using the newest and top of the line training equipment available on the market while focused on a hands-on approach to learning. Additional Topics: - Emergency equipment (clinic, pre-hospital and/or hospital) - Trained rescuers and working in teams - Higher levels of medical knowledge and skills like advanced airway management, checking for vitals, rescue breathing, and bag valve mask ventilation (1 and 2 rescuer) Upon successful completion, participants will meet prerequisites to complete Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification provided by the American Heart Association (AHA), if needed (not included with BLS certification).
